Apple's New AI Feature Reportedly Delayed, May Not Launch with Latest iPhone

Apple is reportedly delaying the release of its new artificial intelligence (AI) feature. According to Bloomberg, this delay might mean that it will not be launched simultaneously with the new generation of iPhones and iPads.

Sources indicate that the company initially planned to launch "Apple Intelligence" alongside the new generation of iPhones and iPads in September. However, the plan has changed, and the release has been pushed to October, meaning the feature will be available when the software update is released.

Nevertheless, the source mentioned that Apple Intelligence could be available for preliminary testing by software developers as early as this week through the beta versions of iOS 18.1 and iPadOS 18.1. This early testing is not a common practice. The source also noted that concerns over stability are part of the reason why Apple Intelligence will not be released with the new generation of iPhones and iPads.
